EnergyAE is a technical advisor to the Clean Energy Regulator, who is responsible for implementing and regulating the Renewable Energy Target (RET). EnergyAE has established a robust process to ensure this vital support program is a success.
EnergyAE performs audits on a regular basis on a selection of submissions to the Regulator's Register of Solar Water Heaters which includes residential and commercial solar water heaters and heat pumps. These audits involve comprehensive checks across many details in an applicant’s submission. EnergyAE has set up a system of quality assurance procedures to ensure that all submissions are fully consistent from test report data and manufacturer's technical specifications through to the TRNSYS modelling and STC results. EnergyAE consultants are highly trained and have excellent attention to detail, with thorough knowledge of the various Australian/New Zealand standards that underpin this work: AS/NZS 4234, AS/NZS 4692, AS/NZS 5125, AS/NZS 2712, AS/NZS 2535. Director of EnergyAE, Jeremy Osborne, is an expert committee member on the Australian Standard CS-028 responsible for maintaining many of these standards.
