Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.

The Apricus APHP-R290-N-300 is an integral (all in one) heat pump water heater with a 300 L nominal storage tank, built for outdoor installation. It uses R290 refrigerant and runs in two modes: ECO mode uses the heat pump alone and heats water to a maximum of 70 degrees C, while RAPID mode brings in the electric element for a maximum of 75 degrees C. The default hot water outlet temperature is 60 degrees C.

The heat pump operates across an ambient range of -7 to 43 degrees C. Outside this range the auxiliary electric element takes over until conditions return within range. The unit is rated for a water supply pressure of 150-850 kPa and an incoming water temperature of 5-30 degrees C, with a PTR valve set to 850 kPa and 99 degrees C. Legionella control requires boosting at least 45% of tank volume to 60 degrees C daily.
