The Ariston ARIHPWH-320 is an integral heat pump water heater: the R290 heat pump sits atop a 320 L enamelled-steel storage tank in a single monobloc casing, standing 2058 mm tall and weighing 124 kg empty. It heats water to a maximum of 60 degrees C on the heat pump alone, with a 1.2 kW electric element extending delivery to 70 degrees C.
R290 is a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant (GWP of 3). The tank uses a titanium impressed-current anode plus a magnesium anode for corrosion protection, and connects via 3/4 inch (20 mm) hydraulic fittings. RCM certification (AS/NZS 60335.1, AS/NZS 60335.2.40), StandardMark (AS/NZS 4020, AS/NZS 4692) and WaterMark all apply.
ARIHPWH-320 sits at the top of the Ariston integral range alongside the 200 L and 280 L units, sharing the same heat pump platform and control interface. It currently appears only on the STC (SRES) register, not VEU or ESS.
