The Chofu Australia CO2 315 is a split-system heat pump water heater: a stand-alone CO2 (R744) heat pump unit (EHPE-4540P) paired with a 315 L storage tank. The tank is offered in a glass-lined (electric enamel-lined mild steel) version and three stainless-steel variants (tall, squat, and EW), all sharing the same heat pump unit and rated performance.
The tank fittings are rated to 700 kPa, with a Rp/G 3/4 connection, and the system delivers hot water at 63 degrees C. All four register variants carry the same certificate number in the WaterMark product database and are listed together on the CER SRES air-source heat pump register, eligible from 24 April 2018 to 31 December 2030.
This is a separate register brand from Reclaim Energy’s own CO2 315L line already documented in this database (reclaim-energy/co2-315.md): the two use a similarly named 315 L standalone CO2 architecture but a different heat pump unit model (EHPE-4540P here, versus Reclaim’s own unit), so they are recorded as distinct products.
