The Ecogenica EG-260FR is an all-in-one heat pump water heater: a 260 L tank with the heat pump unit built directly onto the top of the cylinder in a single slim-line cabinet, connected to mains water pressure. As with the rest of the FR range, the R290 refrigerant circuit heats the water directly through a jacket wrapped around the tank rather than through a separate water loop.
Heating capacity is 3.25 kW from 0.67 kW input, giving a declared COP of 4.85 W/W at a 55 degree C outlet setting. The unit operates across an ambient range of -7 to 43 degrees C and carries no electric backup element.
EG-260FRC is the commercial variant of the same physical unit (higher set temperature, single top sensor); Ecogenica’s warranty terms treat EG-260FR and EG-260FRC as one product line, with 7 years on the tank and 5 years on the compressor.
