Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.

The Econova ECON260 is an integral (all-in-one) heat pump water heater: an R290 micro-channel condenser wrapped directly onto the 260 L steel tank, with no separate refrigeration connection to make on site. Heating capacity is 3.25 kW from a 700 W rotary compressor, giving a declared COP of 4.8 to EN 255-3 (air at 20 degrees C, water inlet at 15 degrees C, factory settings). It operates across an ambient range of -7 to 40 degrees C, with the factory set point at 60 degrees C.

An electric element provides automatic backup heating in cold conditions. The unit is certified to AS/NZS 3550.1 for electrical safety and carries WaterMark certification.

The same physical product is registered under colour and rebrand variant codes covering fixed and reversed-valve (RVW/RW) tank fittings with different electric element sizes (2.0 kW and 4.8 kW). Certificate values are the same across those variants.
