The Efficiency Plus EPG-270 is an all-in-one heat pump water heater: a single outdoor cabinet housing a 270 L enamel-lined steel tank wrapped by a micro-channel R290 (400 g charge) heat exchanger, so the refrigerant never contacts the stored water. The heat pump is rated at 2.78 kW heating capacity and 1.2 kW power input (COP 4.15) at an air temperature of 20°C/15°C, and operates across an ambient range of -7°C to 43°C. Sound level is rated at 43 dBA and net weight is 118 kg.
A 1.8 kW electric element backs up the heat pump for boost mode and sterilisation. The unit is registered under two model codes built on the same tank and heat pump: EPG-270AD has an adjustable controller (55°C recommended set point, with a 24-hour Legionella restore-to-55°C cycle), while EPG-270AC runs a fixed, non-adjustable 60°C set point with a 45%-of-tank Legionella boost each day. Both variants can raise water to 75°C using the heat pump plus element together.
Electrical connection is 220-240 V/50 Hz on a dedicated 15 A circuit (RCBO Type B, 30 mA).
