The Emerald Energy EE-HWS-A1-320 is an all-in-one heat pump water heater: a Hitachi-joint-venture DC inverter compressor, DC inverter fan, and microchannel heat exchanger are built into the same cabinet as the 320 L tank. This variant has no electric heating element, so it runs in Standard, Silent, or Booster mode on the heat pump alone. Standard mode delivers 2.8 kW of heating at a 0.53 kW power input (COP 5.2), and Silent mode drops to 2.0 kW at 0.4 kW input (COP 5.0, 45 dB(A) at 1 m) for quieter running.
The enamelled inner tank (2.5 mm wall, 3.0 mm dome, concave design, two magnesium anodes) is rated to a default outlet of 60 degrees C and a maximum heat pump outlet of 70 degrees C. Without the electric element fitted, the working ambient range is -7 to 43 degrees C. EE-HWS-A1-320-1 is the same physical product listed for commercial installation.
The datasheet gives a combined R290 charge of 450 g across the 270 L and 320 L pairs without itemising the split between tank sizes.
