The Emerald Energy HPA1-S320E is an all-in-one heat pump water heater: the R290 compressor and heat exchanger are built into the same cabinet as the 320 L tank, with a 1 kW electric heating element fitted for E-Heater and Boost modes. Standard mode (heat pump only) delivers 2.8 kW of heating at a 0.63 kW power input (COP 4.41); Boost mode (heat pump plus element) raises output to 3.8 kW. Sound level is 50 dB(A) at 1 m in Standard mode.
The unit carries a 500 g R290 charge, a GMCC non-inverter rotary compressor, and an enamelled inner tank (2.5 mm wall, 3.0 mm dome) rated to a default set point of 54/55 degrees C and a maximum heat pump outlet of 70 degrees C. With the electric element fitted, the working ambient range extends to -15 to 46 degrees C. Built-in Wi-Fi connects to the Emerald app for remote monitoring and control.
