Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.

The Emerald Energy HPR200E-1 is the electric-backup version of the HPR200 split-system heat pump water heater: the same R290 outdoor heat pump unit connects to a 200 L tank by pre-charged quick-connect refrigerant couplings, with a 2.1 kW electric element fitted in the lower part of the tank for boost heating or operation outside the heat pump’s ambient range. The outdoor unit delivers 2.8 kW of heating with a 1.15 kW power input (at 19/15 degrees C DB/WB ambient, 9 degrees C initial water heated to 70 degrees C), and runs in ambient temperatures from -15 to 46 degrees C.

Hot water is delivered at a default 55 degrees C. Fitting the electric element adds 2 kg over the HPR200-1’s tank weight.

The HPR200E and HPR200E-1 register strings appear to be the same physical product across production revisions; the manual itself only names the HPR200E-1 model number.
