The Enviroheat 250EH1-15 is an all-in-one heat pump water heater: a single monobloc cabinet housing a micro-channel wrap-around condenser around a 250 L vitreous-enamel-coated steel tank. The heat pump runs on R134a refrigerant (0.9 kg charge), drawing an average of 0.495 kW input power (0.865 kW at maximum), backed by a 1.5 kW electric element for boost heating. Corrosion protection is by sacrificial anode, and the unit is rated IPX4.
The heat pump operates down to -7 degrees C ambient and the tank thermostat can be set from 35 to 75 degrees C, defaulting to 55 degrees C. Sound level is 46 dB(A). The cabinet measures 600 mm deep by 629 mm wide by 1965 mm high and weighs 102 kg net.
Warranty covers the tank cylinder for 5 years (3 years labour), the compressor for 3 years (1 year labour), and electronics, parts and labour for 1 year. Enviroheat is a brand of Energie Group Australia, the same manufacturer group behind Envirosun and Wulfe; this R134a micro-channel model is a distinct, older-generation product line, separate from the R290 wrap-around-coil ES/EH-M9 series also sold under the Enviroheat name.
