It runs on R290, a hydrocarbon refrigerant with a GWP below 0.02, and is rated to operate from -6 to 43 degrees C, with the 2.4 kW electric element only engaging outside that range or after 200 minutes of heat pump operation between -6 and 7 degrees C.
Rated heat pump power input is 690 W against an average heating capacity of 2.9 kW at 19 degrees C ambient, giving a declared COP of 4.9 under the AS/NZS 5125.1 test method. Sound level is 48 dB(A) at 1 m. The tank stands 1832 mm high and 696 mm wide, weighing 135 kg cartoned and around 402 kg full of water.
Warranty is 7 years on the cylinder (3 years labour), 3 years on the sealed refrigeration system (parts and labour), and 1 year on other parts.
