What customers say

“The Haier split system also heats up water a lot faster according to the product info, and the HP300S2-S7 is also PV ready, so that's really good to know.”

The Haier HP300S2-F7 is a split-system heat pump water heater sold under the same brand and model code in New Zealand and Australia, supported locally by Fisher & Paykel: a separate outdoor heat pump unit (EHP50S2-F7) connects by pre-charged R32 refrigerant piping (1 to 8 m run) to an indoor 300 L nominal (276 L cylinder volume) tank with an internal condenser coil (THP300S2-F7).
The assembled system is rated at 4.58 kW average heating capacity with a 1.19 kW average power input (declared COP 4.48 at 20/15 degrees C ambient), and operates from an unusually wide -15 to 45 degrees C ambient range for the brand. It produces 52 dB(A) at 1 m and delivers hot water at a default 55 degrees C, adjustable to 75 degrees C with the 2.6 kW electric element (plus a one-time boost function) engaged.
Haier’s NZ warranty covers the cylinder for 7 years parts (5 years labour), and the refrigeration components and other components for 5 years parts and labour (domestic use); commercial use drops to 1 year across the board.
