The condenser coil is a microchannel wrap-around coil fitted around the enamel-lined tank rather than immersed in the water. The heat pump alone operates down to -7 degrees C, and the 1.8 kW electric element extends the working range to -15 degrees C, up to a maximum ambient of 43 degrees C.
