The IHEAT 270L (sold commercially as the iStore 270L, model PASHW015-270LD-FL02) is an all-in-one air source heat pump water heater: a single cabinet with the compressor and fan mounted above a coil-wrapped 270 L storage tank. It uses R290 (propane) refrigerant, delivers 4.0 kW of heating with a compressor power input of 0.85 kW, and is rated to operate down to -5 degrees C ambient (max 43 degrees C), drawing 1000 cubic metres per hour of air across the evaporator.
The unit heats to a rated outlet temperature of 60 degrees C and carries a 1.0 kW electric booster element for one-shot backup heating. Sound output is 47 dB(A) at 1 m in an anechoic chamber. The tank stands 2000 mm high by 640 mm diameter and weighs 133 kg empty, with 3/4 inch water connections.
The manual cover plate abbreviates the model code to PASHW015-270-FL02-R290 (dropping the LD tank-size suffix used on the schemes register), but tank volume, refrigerant and FL02 variant all match. The same physical unit is also registered without the FL02 suffix as PASHW015-270LD on the STC and ESS registers.
