Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.
The LJW PR-035 is a split-system heat pump water heater: an outdoor heat pump unit paired with a 150 L storage tank, connected by circulation pipes carrying water (not refrigerant) between the two. A water pump moves water from the tank through the heat pump’s water-side heat exchanger and back, so the heat pump never contacts the tank directly.
The unit uses R410A refrigerant and delivers 3.5 kW of rated heating capacity. Rated power input is 1.3 kW (5.9 A), and the unit operates across an ambient range of -7 to 40 degrees C, delivering water up to 60 degrees C. The tank is enamel-coated steel with a sacrificial anode for corrosion protection.
The manual is issued under three cover variants (a generic “UI-HWC01-10d” print and two “LJW-” branded reprints), all describing the same PR-035 model with identical specifications. The product is registered on the CER SRES, VEU and ESS registers under three casing variants of the same brand name (LJW AU, LJW Australia, LJW AUSTRALIA), each carrying the single model code PR-035.
