Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.
The Omni X OMNIXHP-180-R290 is an integral heat pump water heater: the heat pump and 180 L storage tank are combined in a single unit. It uses R290 (propane) refrigerant and is designed to operate across an ambient temperature range of -7 to 43 degrees C, with permitted water inlet temperatures of 0 to 35 degrees C.
The unit delivers hot water at a fixed 60 degrees C, a preset that is not user-adjustable, and has no electric backup element: the manual’s default parameter table lists “N/A” for the electric element setting across the model range, so heating relies solely on the heat pump. A built-in Legionella control function heats at least 45 percent of the tank volume to 60 degrees C daily.
The OMNIXHP-180-R290 is the smallest of a four-model Omni X integral range (180, 250, 340 and 420 L) sharing the same control platform and refrigerant.
