It uses R290 refrigerant and a rotary compressor to deliver 3.61 kW of heating capacity at 0.84 kW power input, giving a rated COP of 4.3 at 20 degrees C ambient.
The unit operates from -10 to 35 degrees C ambient, delivers water at 60 degrees C, and has no electric booster element (Quantum’s heat pumps are designed to run without boosting down to their rated ambient minimum). Nett empty weight is 115 kg, with cabinet dimensions of 1620 mm height by 540 mm diameter. Operating sound level is 50 dBA.
Quantum’s domestic range carries a 5-year tank warranty and 2-year warranty on electrics and refrigeration, certified to AS 2712 and AS 3498 with WaterMark approval.
