The Quantum Titan 340L Split (340-17ASW-134) is the split-system version of the Titan range: a 340 L tank with the condenser coil wrapped around it, connected by refrigerant lines to a separate outdoor evaporator/compressor unit that can be installed up to 8 m away. It uses the same 39 cc rotary compressor and R134a refrigerant as the compact Titan, rated at 6.22 kW heating output and 1.66 kW power input, but the remote evaporator lifts the declared COP to 3.74 at 20 degrees C ambient. It operates from -10 to +35 degrees C with no electric booster element and can be manifolded with other Titan units for larger loads.
Delivered water temperature is 60 degrees C, sound rated at 58 dBA. The tank stands 2110 mm high by 650 mm diameter, nett empty weight 165 kg tank plus 35 kg outdoor unit. Warranty is 5 years on the tank and 2 years on electrics and refrigeration, parts and labour.
The unit is certified to AS 2712 and AS 3498 (WaterMark), and is registered under this model code on the CER Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme and NSW Energy Savings Scheme.
