The Siddons Solarstream MAHRW010ZB-315 is a split-system heat pump water heater: the same bolt-on outdoor heat pump unit used across the MAHRW010ZB range, connected by water pipework (20mm, 3/4 inch BSP) to a 315 L storage tank. The heat pump uses R134A refrigerant, rates at 3.5 kW heating capacity with 0.97 kW power input (COP 3.6), and operates in ambient temperatures from -5 to 45 degrees C.
The tank is offered in two materials on the register: a 316 marine-grade stainless steel tank (327 L physical volume, 1980 mm height, 580 mm diameter, 73 kg dry weight) badged -315SS, and a vitreous enamel/glass-lined steel tank (340 L physical volume, 1700 mm height, 648 mm diameter, 74 kg dry weight) badged -315VEO. Warranty is 10 years on the stainless tank (with PURE WATER supply) or 5 years on the glass-lined tank, 3 years on the bolt-on heat pump and other parts, 1 year on labour.
