Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.

The Smart Lifestyle Australia SLA-R25-300 is an all-in-one integral heat pump water heater: a single cabinet houses both the R290 (propane) heat pump and a 300 L storage tank, so there is no separate outdoor unit or water loop to install. The heat pump runs in ambient air temperatures from -10 to 40 degrees C and delivers hot water between 35 and 70 degrees C, with an electric backup element for fast-heating and boost modes.

Rated heating capacity is 2.5 kW against a heat pump power input of 0.48 kW, tested with inlet water from 14 to 55 degrees C and air at 19 degrees C dry bulb / 15 degrees C wet bulb. The cabinet measures 640 mm in diameter by 2010 mm high.

The same physical product is registered under an earlier control-board generation code (N3D4, plus its N3D4C variant) alongside the current N4D4 line and its 70 degree factory-setpoint variants (N4D4C/70-2, N4D4C/70-5) covered in this manual.
