Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.

The Smart Power Tech WH250A-RE is an integral, all-in-one air source heat pump water heater: a single tall cylindrical cabinet, 570 mm in diameter and 2140 mm tall, houses both the heat pump and the storage tank. Nominal tank volume is 250 L, taken from the model code, as the manual does not publish a separate rated storage volume. The electrical connection table specifies a dedicated 220-240V supply with a 30A manual switch, 30mA leakage protector and 25A fuse, but does not give a heating capacity, power input or COP figure for this model.

Operating temperature is set to 60 degrees C, and the manual requires a thermostatic mixing valve on the hot water outlet in line with AS/NZS 3500.4 and the Plumbing Code of Australia. WH250A-R, WH250A-C and WH250A-CE share the same cabinet dimensions and electrical rating; the manual does not distinguish refrigerant type, sound level or electric backup element rating between the four variants.

Register listings show WH250A-R and WH250A-RE under both the “Smart Power Tech” and “SMART POWER TECH” register brand strings; WH250A-C and WH250A-CE appear as additional STC-only variants.
