Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone, medium household, calculated from the model's registered performance data.

The Smart Power Tech WH315A-RE is an integral, all-in-one air source heat pump water heater using flammable R290 refrigerant. Nominal tank volume is 315 L, taken from the model code, as the manual does not publish a rated storage volume, cabinet dimensions or net weight for this model. The specification table gives the same electrical rating as the smaller WH265A unit in the same range: a rated 0.89 kW heat pump power input, with the -RE variant adding a 2.0 kW electric element for boost heating and low-ambient backup (maximum combined input 2.89 kW, 13.3A). The table leaves the heating capacity (thermal output) cell blank for this model, so it is omitted here.

The heat pump’s stated operating range is -10 to 43 degrees C ambient (a separate troubleshooting note elsewhere in the same manual gives -7 to 40 degrees C for the “PA” ambient fault code, a discrepancy not resolved in the source document). Outlet water temperature is adjustable from 35 to 70 degrees C, water connections are G3/4”, and rated water supply pressure and PTR valve setting are both 1000 kPa. A weekly Legionella disinfect cycle heats the tank to 61 degrees C with a 1K deadband.

WH315A-R and WH315A-C are the same physical unit without the 2.0 kW electric element (heat pump only, 0.89 kW max input); these variants instead heat 45% of the tank to 60 degrees C daily for disinfection. The manual does not give a separate heating capacity figure for them either.
