The Solahart Atmos Eco Split 5kW is a split-system heat pump water heater: a compact outdoor refrigeration module (similar to a split air-conditioner condenser) connects by water pipe to a separate 320 L vitreous enamel lined tank (315 L CER submitted), which can be installed away from the module where outdoor space near the tank is limited. It uses R290 refrigerant with a defrosting 4-way valve and operates from -7 to 43 degrees C ambient.
The heat pump delivers 4.6 kW heating capacity and a COP of 4.5 at 19 degrees C ambient (measured to AS/NZS 5125, water heated 15 to 60 degrees C), rising to 5.9 kW and COP 5.1 at 33/26 degrees C. Default outlet temperature is 60 degrees C, with a maximum of 65 degrees C. Measured noise is 47 dB(A) at 1 metre.
The register model 32SHE is the marketing name for the same physical product line as 32SHER05, which is the code shown in the technical data table; certificate values are the same across both.
