The Soltaro HPWSTR003 is an all-in-one air source heat pump water heater with a 270 L enamel tank, the larger companion to the HPWSTR002. The heat exchanger is a microchannel wrap-around coil around the tank, so refrigerant does not contact the water directly. Rated heating capacity is 2.82 kW at a rated input power of 0.70 kW (COP 4.15 under A20/15, W15-55), and the unit operates on heat pump alone from -7 to 43 degrees C ambient, extending to -15 degrees C with the electric element enabled.
The unit carries a 1.8 kW electric resistance element for boost and hybrid heating modes, on top of the heat pump. Rated outlet water temperature is 60 degrees C (max 70 degrees C), with automatic sterilisation heating to 60 degrees C on a 7-day cycle. Refrigerant is R290 (400 g charge) via a GMCC rotary compressor and electronic expansion valve.
The cabinet is a single all-in-one tower (620 mm diameter, 1838 mm high, 118 kg net), rated at 49 dBA. Sold in AU/NZ alongside the visually identical Hisense-branded range, but registered separately under the Soltaro brand.
