The THERATA KZd40-R20SWE/S-ST25 is an all-in-one integral heat pump water heater built around a 250 L enamel-lined mild steel tank, registered on WaterMark as a “250 litre integral heat pump hot water heater”. It runs on R134a refrigerant and delivers hot water at 60 degrees C.
Distributor Sahara Energy lists this same heat pump model (alongside the smaller KZd35-R16SWE/S-ST15) as the single-unit building block behind THERATA’s larger VEU Activity 44 commercial systems, where two to four of these heat pumps are ganged onto a shared multi-hundred-litre tank with in-tank electric boost. The entry here covers the standalone single-heat-pump, single-tank configuration that carries its own SRES STC registration.
The same heat pump/tank combination also appears on WaterMark under the TCL brand as KZd40-R20SWE/S-ST25-T (certificate cancelled), consistent with THERATA being an Australian-market rebrand of a shared Foshan/Guangdong Xita OEM platform.
