The Emerald Energy HPRX300E-1 is a split-system heat pump water heater: an R290 outdoor heat pump unit connects to a 300 L tank by pre-charged quick-connect refrigerant couplings, with a 4.2 kW electric element fitted for boost heating or operation outside the heat pump’s ambient range. It is a higher-temperature variant of the Emerald Energy HPR range, delivering hot water at a default 70 degrees C against the HPR300E-1’s 55 degrees C.
The outdoor unit delivers 3.6 kW of heating with a 1.8 kW power input (at 19/15 degrees C DB/WB ambient, 9 degrees C initial water heated to 60 degrees C), and runs in ambient temperatures from -15 to 46 degrees C.
The manual bundling this model also documents an HPRX-200E-1 tank variant, but that model does not appear on the Emerald Energy STC/VEU/ESS registers, so it is excluded from this entry.
