The Neopower NA42-SS315A is a premium split-system heat pump water heater: an outdoor R32 heat pump unit (931 x 407 x 551 mm, 50 kg net) piped to a 315 L Australian-made 316 stainless steel tank (620 mm diameter, 1990 mm tall, 70 kg net), manufactured by Earthworker Energy Cooperative in Morwell, Victoria. The heat pump unit and tank can be separated by up to 3 metres. Rated heating capacity is 3.5 kW with a rated power input of 865 W (max input 1250 W), sound output of 53 dB, and a 60 degC outlet temperature.
The heat pump operates across an ambient range of -7 to 43 degC, with a rated water yield of 70 L/hr and refrigerant charge of 770 g of R32.
This model shares its heat pump unit with the NA41-SS250A, differing only in tank size. Warranty is 15 years on the tank, with 6 years on the heat pump unit, controller and sensors.
