The Reclaim Energy CO2 315L is a split-system heat pump water heater: an outdoor CO2 (R744) heat pump unit paired with a 315 L storage tank (323 L physical volume). The single heat pump unit across the range delivers up to 6.0 kW of heating with a rated power input of 2.3 kW, and operates in ambient temperatures from -10 to 43 degrees C, so it suits cold-climate installations where many integral units derate.
R744 is a natural refrigerant with a GWP of 1, and the system delivers hot water at 63 degrees C without an electric backup element. The 315 L tank is offered in glass-lined and stainless-steel versions; all share the same heat pump and register performance.
The same heat pump is registered under a number of model codes covering tank material, colour, and rebrand variants. Certificate values are not uniform across them: the glass-lined and stainless variants share a registration (REHP-CO2-315GL-V2 and REHP-CO2-315SST-V2 carry the same STC zone values), while the duplex stainless REHP-CO2-315DX-V2 is registered separately and earns slightly fewer certificates — 33 against 34 in STC Zone 4, with correspondingly higher boost energy on the VEU and ESS registers. Check the specific model code rather than assuming the range is interchangeable.
