The AmbiPower 5kW Split Heat Pump System VE is a split-system heat pump water heater: a wall-mountable heat pump module (mountable up to 2 m high, up to 5 m from the tank) circulates water to a separate 315 L vitreous-enamel-lined tank. It uses an ultra-low-GWP R290 refrigerant charge (GWP 0.02), rated heating capacity 4.6 kW and a declared COP of 4.5 at 19 degrees C, across an ambient range of -7 to 43 degrees C.
Rheem’s product page uses both 565E315 and 565E315R0 for the current model; both appear on the register and are treated here as the same physical product. Warranty is 10 years on the cylinder, 3 years cylinder labour, 3 years on the sealed system (supply and labour), and 1 year on other parts.
