The Rinnai Enviroflo EHPA315VMA is the larger cylinder in the same all-in-one Series 2 range as the EHPA250VMA: a single vertical cabinet with the fan coil unit and compressor mounted above a 315 L storage cylinder, heating water through a plate heat exchanger and circulation pump rather than a direct wrap-around coil. R290 (270 g charge) is the refrigerant, and the heat pump performance figures are identical to the 250 L unit: 5.20 kW heat output at a COP of 7.22 (32.6 degrees C ambient, 21.1 degrees C cold water inlet), operating down to -1 degrees C ambient before the 2.4 kW electric element takes over. The refrigeration module is factory-wired to 1.0 kW; total rated input to be wired by the installer (module plus element) is 3.4 kW.
Net weight is 138 kg (451 kg filled), cylinder height 2134 mm, diameter 627 mm, unit width 675 mm, with a sound level of 48 dB(A). The manual covers four physical variants of this same 315 L cylinder: EHPA315VMA, EHPA315VMAH, EHPA315VMAW and EHPA315VMAWH, sharing identical heat pump performance and dimensions.
