Certificate counts are computed from the model's registered performance data using the current regulated equations. A lodged claim depends on the specific installation, household size, and the scheme rules in force at creation. Energy savings % is against the AS/NZS 4234:2021 reference electric storage water heater for that zone and load size, calculated from the model's registered performance data, or taken directly from the register where it publishes a savings figure. VEU registers this data at the small load (the step-down load for a medium-rated system) and ESS at the medium load, so the two schemes' figures differ for the same zone.
The Solahart Atmos Eco 180HDC is an all-in-one air-sourced heat pump water heater aimed at 1-4 person households, with a 178 L cylinder and wrap-around microchannel heat exchange technology. It uses R513a refrigerant (lower GWP than R134a) and operates from -7 to 43 degrees C ambient, delivering 3.2 kW average heating capacity and a COP of 4.9 at 19 degrees C ambient.
A 2.4 kW electric element backs up the heat pump outside its operating range. The cylinder carries a 7-year warranty, with 3 years labour on the cylinder and 3 years on the sealed refrigeration system.
