Folder layout and naming convention for VEU Activity 44 audit files.
VEU audit file requirements are defined in the Commercial HPWH Application Guide, which can also be downloaded from the ESC website.

Key VEU Requirements
- ZIP files are accepted — you can submit the entire folder structure as a ZIP
- The Specifications sheet (
Brand_YYYYMMDD_Specifications.xls) is mandatory — this is a VEU-specific format listing all TRNSYS parameters - The Product Upload Form (
Brand_Product_Upload_Form_YYYYMMDD.xlsx) enables bulk import of multiple models - The 4234 report is mandatory
Manufacturer Declaration
A Manufacturer Declaration is required when model names differ between documents (e.g. the model name on the EN 14511 report does not exactly match the model name being submitted). This is common when test reports were conducted on a prototype or a slightly different variant.
A template is available on SharePoint: Templates/Manufacturers_Declaration_Template.docx. When sending declarations for signing, use the Declaration Signing Email Template.
Authorisation Letter
An Authorisation Letter is required when the applicant does not own the test reports being submitted (e.g. the Australian distributor is applying but the test reports are in the manufacturer’s name).
A template is available on SharePoint: Templates/Authorisation Letter Template.docx. When sending authorisation letters for signing, use the Declaration Signing Email Template.
