Application Status Updates

Template responses for clients asking about the status of their commercial applications.

When a client asks about the status of their application, use the responses below or the Application Status Follow-up Email Template. These give the client realistic expectations and direct them to the right place to check themselves.

If the status update is driven by a scheme administrator RFI, use the RFI Response Request Email Template instead.


VEU (Activity 44)

ESC (VEU) processing time for commercial applications varies but is typically 6–10 weeks from submission to approval.

Your VEU Activity 44 application has been submitted. ESC typically processes commercial applications within 6–10 weeks. You can check the current status of your application by logging into the VEU portal and reviewing your applications. The VEU product register will update once your product is approved.

ESS IHEAB (TESSA)

IPART (ESS) processing time for commercial IHEAB applications is typically 6–10 weeks from submission to approval.

Your ESS IHEAB application has been submitted to IPART via the TESSA portal. Processing typically takes 6–10 weeks. You can monitor your application status by logging into the TESSA portal and checking your submissions. Approved products also appear on the IPART Accepted Products List.
